Essential when ordering lunch at work

We've all been there: it's 11:15, and a bunch of people at work decide to order lunch from the local delivery place. The delivery man shows up with everybody's order listed on a single bill stapled to the bag. And he doesn't have a lot of change.

No need to panic! Just gather enough money to cover the bill and the tip, and let DutchTab do the math!

With DutchTab, everybody pays its fair share of a bill regardless of how much money they contributed when the bill was paid. Here’s how it works:

  • When the bill is paid, anyone in the group who has cash pays a part of the bill (or all of it) regardless of how much their own order costs. The goal is to collect the money required to cover the bill and tip, if applicable.
  • Then, every participant is added to a new bill in DutchTab. A participant is someone who ordered something on the bill and/or who contributed money to pay that bill.
  • The amount paid by each participant is entered into DutchTab, as well as every item that participant had on the bill, along with the price of each ordered item.
  • Finally, DutchTab displays a debt report detailing who owes whom. It’s that easy!
