It’s been a month!

polkapps, tunesleeve
Well, it has already been one full month since the first commercial release of TuneSleeve! So far, the experience has been very positive and the results are encouraging. I am more motivated than ever to work on version 2.0 of TuneSleeve, which will include many of the most frequently requested features. I should be able to start working on version 2.0 as soon as I am done with the non-programming tasks that kept me busy during the past month:
- Paperwork
- Shopping for web hosting
- New website design
- Submission on download sites
- Feature roadmap
Most of these tasks are already behind me, so this summer should be dedicated to TuneSleeve!

how about a mac version?!?!?

I have been asked for a Mac version quite a few times, and all I can say for now is that I bought a MacBook earlier this year and programming for the Mac sounds like a lot of fun!
But having never programmed for Mac before, the investment of time required to do a Mac version of TuneSleeve would be significant, so I am evaluating my priorities carefully right now.
In short: I do have the intention of doing a Mac version and I have already taken the first steps towards that goal, but it probably won’t happen in 2007.

How about 64bit support? As a recent switching from 32bit Windows XP to 64bit Windows Vista it was sorta heartbreaking to have one of my “killer apps” no longer work for me.

Indeed, TuneSleeve doesn’t work on 64 bit Windows right now.
Many people have reported this problem to me, and it is high on my list of things to fix in the short-term. Keep an eye on this blog for progress reports regarding this issue!
